Residential Camp CZ
10-14 August 2026
Pilsen Region, Czech Republic
Ages 12-17
5 days / 4 nights
A Czech-Bavarian residential summer school where participants explore quantum technologies through Minecraft, experiments and collaborative projects.
During one intensive week, children work inside the Quantum Academy Minecraft environment, where concepts such as superposition, quantum communication and quantum measurement become interactive challenges instead of abstract theory. The programme combines digital simulations with real laboratory demonstrations, logic tasks and cross-border teamwork.
Participants from Germany and the Czech Republic live, learn and build together throughout the week. Alongside Minecraft-based activities, the camp includes scientific workshops, lectures from university researchers, physical experiments with photons and polarisation, outdoor activities and evening programme.
The camp is organised in cooperation with university and educational partners from Bavaria and the Czech Republic as part of the Interreg Bayern-Tschechien programme.
